AVAILON NORTH AMERICA OPENS NEW SERVICE AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER FOR SOUTHWESTERN UNITED STATES
Availon, Inc., a premier provider of parts and engineering services to wind power industry in North America, headquartered in Des Moines, IA, is pleased to announce the opening of their Sweetwater, TX, Service and Distribution Center (SDC) covering the Southwestern markets of the USA.
The selection of Texas as a location for Availon’s second North American Service and Distribution Center was dictated by the tremendous role played by the state in the US wind energy. Texas is the national leader in overall wind turbines capacity; it is the first state to reach 10,000 MW of wind energy installations. Texas is home to seven of the nation’s top ten largest wind farms, including all of the top five.

As we continue our quest to provide our customers the best, most efficient and timely O&M services, and deliver the parts when wind turbine operators need them, this new Service and Distribution Center will play a pivotal role in accomplishing this goal.”
The new Service and Distribution Center at 1113 Lamar Street, Sweetwater, TX, has a fully staffed parts warehouse; plus full-time engineering, technical and sales personnel on location.
