Whether it is an engineering upgrade to a known faulty component, or a response to a unique local issue, we stand behind you.

Our Operations & Maintenance philosophy and practices are focused on the long term operational optimization of your assets. We believe taking an approach that incorporates a 20+ year timeline, will result in the best financial performance over the lifetime of the project. Our O&M practices reflect this long term approach. This philosophy when applied to daily issues will result in the best decisions made for long term benefit.

Scheduled O&M:

Regular maintenance every 6 and 12 months:

Break-fix maintenance as needed:

• 24/7 Remote SCADA Monitoring, to pinpoint problems as they arise

O&M Inspection Services:

During regular tower maintenance:

• Visual inspections
• Performance tests (e.g. disconnect switch, emergency stop switch, etc.)
• Operational logs and memory data checks
• Clean and/or replace filters
• Gear oil test with a result and trend analysis
• Drivetrain analysis using frequency and vibration testing
• Safety feature and equipment inspections
• Transformer substation maintenanc
• Wear parts inspection and replacement when necessary

Rotor Blade Services:

Availon’s rotor blade service includes:

• Professional inspection, maintenance, repair and optimization, regardless of turbine type and hub height
• Preventive measures for smooth operation and a long service life
• Many years of experience and continuous professional staff training
• Safe, flexible and cost-effective operations by using blade platforms that are TÜV-tested and certified according to DIN EN 1808

Frame Services:

Condition-oriented maintenance:

• Based on the frame design and age, implement the appropriate monitoring and maintenance plan.
• Monitor the frame for any irregularities, and immediately analyze and repair any damages using certified welding processes

Reporting:

After servicing your wind turbines, we provide documentation of the maintenance and repair work that has been completed and certified by Germanischer Lloyd. The report gives you a detailed description of the condition of your turbines, as well as notes and recommendations for future upgrades.
